Sunday Car Walk – Bollihope Burn, Co. Durham, DL13 2SY
Meet for a 9.30 am start to the walk, parking at the bottom of the hill alongside Bollihope Burn close by the caravan park.

Route: Bollihope Burn, Fine Rigg, Long Man (Currick), Jack Scars, Pawlaw Pike, Five Pikes, Elephant Trees, Weardale Way, White Kirkley, Parking Place.
There is an option to extend the walk through walking on to Sharnberry Gill & then on to Pawlaw Pike.
Distance: 11.50 miles with 1,500 feet of ascent.
Description: A most spectacular walk on the peaks & moors of Weardale, panoramic views to all quarters of this vast area.Then passing the Elephant trees & joining the Weardale Way which takes a downward path to join the Bollihope Burn& through White Kirkley to the car park. While up on the moors there is some heather bashing & some barely discernible paths.
