Midweek Car Walk – Sedgefield, TS21 3AT

The walk will start from the War Memorial on Front Street in front of St Edmund’ Church at 10am.

Parking is mainly on street, either at the bottom of Front Street (when entering Sedgefield from the East) or Rectory Row.

Alternatively, paid parking at £4 for the day is available at Hardwick Hall. Anyone choosing this option please meet at the Visitor Centre and the rest of the walk will rendevzous with you about 10.20am.

Route: Sedgefield, Hardwick Hall, Tile Shed Plantation, Island Farm, Middleham Castle, Bishop Middleham Quarry, Stony Bridge, Green Knowles, Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield.

Distance: 9 miles with 390 ft. of ascent (essentially flat).

Description: A very easy and gentle meander through a Country Park and rural farmland. An exceptionally flat walk.
