We are permitted to park in the pub (Anglers Arms) car park providing we have a drink or food afterwards.

Route: Weldon Bridge, High Weldon, Low Town, Fox Covert, Felton Fence, Park Wood, Felton Park, Felton, Tile Kiln Rush, Elyhaugh, High Weldon, Car parking.

Distance: 9.50 miles with 850 ft. of ascent.

Leaving Weldon, we will be following St Oswald’s Way & the course of the River Coquet at varying times.

The route is through fields & woodland some lanes & road walking, the paths are well defined & easy to follow. There are good views to the West & Rothbury. There are two churches worthy of a look near to Felton.

The bridge at Weldon circa 1760 is magnificent example of the architecture of the period.
