THE CAUSEWAY BRIDGE WILL REMAIN  CLOSED  UNTIL AFTER THE WALK.

ALTERNATIVE PARKING WILL NEED TO BE FOUND. ONE ALTERNATIVE IS THE DEMESNE PICNIC AREA CAR PARK WHICH IS £5 ALL DAY.

The walk will start from the bus stop in the Market Place opposite the Black Bull (rear of Wolsingham library). Please meet for a 10.00 am start.

Route: Market Place, Fawnlees Hall, Park Wall, High Jofless, Tunstall Reservoir, Backstone Bank Wood, Baal Hill Wood, Holywell Farm, Wolsingham.

Distance: 9.50 miles & 900 ft. of ascent.

Description: A walk of good tracks, some fields to navigate through, a little road walking .Good scenic views of Co. Durham all-around with a focal point of Tunstall Reservoir. Now into early Spring flowers and trees will be starting to show signs of new growth. Come along if you can and enjoy the scenery on a good walk.
