Meet for a 10.00 am start to the walk (NOTE – the clocks go forward this weekend).
There is parking near to the heritage centre & also around the village.

Route: Allenheads- Dodd Reservoir – Carriers Way – Killhope Law (optional on the day) -Killhope -Weardale Way – Killhope Burn Bridge – Lanehead – Puddingthorn Edge – Rowan’s Currick -Bridge – Allenheads.
Distance: 11 miles with 1,800 ft. of ascent
A very undulating walk along some good paths , some forestry tracks & also some heather bashing finishing off with a stroll down the road to the village,
