Sunday Bus Walks – Shap, Cumbria

Longer Walk – NOT AVAILABLE THIS MONTH 

Middle Walk 

Route: Shap, Keld, High Lanshaw, Green Owlet, Frith Wood, Naddle Farm, Swindle Foot, Tailbert, Keld then back to Shap.

Distance: 11 miles with 1,500 ft. of ascent.

Description: The walk comprises mostly tracks and roads with a few fields.

Shorter Walk 

Route: Shap, High Buildings, Rosgill, Rayside, Shap Abbey, Keld, Shap.

Distance: 7.5 miles with 800 ft. of ascent.

Description: The walk comprises fields, tracks and paths passing through Shap Abbey and Keld Chapel
