New Year’s Day Walk – Stanhope, Co. Durham, DL13 2JR

Parking in lay-by on B6278 just past hospital at west end of the village.
Route: Car parking, Shittlehopeburn Farm, Jollybody Farm,Crawleyside, HeatheryBurn, High House, Park Plantation, Pease Mires and back to car park.
Distance: 10 miles with 1,200 ft of ascent.
Mostly tracks with two ascends.
