Route: Edmundbyers, Muggleswick Park, Coal Gate, Cushat Leazes, Goldhill Edge, Smiddy Shaw Reservoir, Hisehope Reservoir, Black Hill, Stoterly Hill, Edmundbyers.
Distance: 9.50 Miles with 1,000 ft. of ascent.
This is a scenic walk with great views over Derwent Reservoir & the surrounding countryside of Co. Durham. There are some good tracks to follow through the heather and access land. We will follow the path of the watercourse between the two reservoirs and then on to Stoterly Hill. If you want to shake off the cobwebs get your boots on for an exhilarating day’s walking.
