DESCRIPTION:Meet for a 10.00 am start to the walk at Weldon Bridge\, Northumberland. \nWe are permitted to park in the pub (Anglers Arms) car park providing we have a drink or food afterwards. \nPost code: NE65 8AX \nGrid ref: NZ 137 985 \nW3W/// skillet\, clown\, fried \nRoute: Weldon Bridge\, High Weldon\, Low Town\, Fox Covert\, Felton Fence\, Park Wood\, Felton Park\, Felton\, Tile Kiln Rush\, Elyhaugh\, High Weldon\, Car parking. \nDistance: 9.50 miles with 850 ft. of ascent. \nLeaving Weldon\, we will be following St Oswald’s Way & the course of the River Coquet at varying times. \nThe route is through fields & woodland some lanes & road walking\, the paths are well defined & easy to follow. There are good views to the West & Rothbury. There are two churches worthy of a look near to Felton. \nThe bridge at Weldon circa 1760 is magnificent example of the architecture of the period. \nWalk leader: John Henderson
